Net hires needed = Required headcount − Current headcount + Expected attrition
Worked example: Current headcount 120. Target revenue 30,000,000. Target revenue per employee 200,000. Required headcount = 150. Expected attrition 15 (12.5%). Net hires = 150 − 120 + 15 = 45 over the planning period.
