Forgetting to square the linear conversion factor — 1 foot = 0.3048 m, so 1 sq ft = 0.3048² = 0.0929 m² (not 0.3048 m²).
Using hectares instead of acres in US contexts or vice versa in international contexts — agricultural land area reporting uses acres in the US and hectares globally.
